Cannabis in California contains some law-based on, legal, and cultural events surrounding use of cannabis. According to Proposition 215 (prop 215), a law that was passed in 1996, made medical marijuana legal to patient. This are the common temporary symptoms that you may have will using marijuana but what else may it have effect on your body? In the Article “Marijuana Use and Effects of Marijuana”, the author says, “affects almost every organ in your body, and your nervous system and immune system” (Paragraph, 3). Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) affects your body in that your neurons release chemical called cannabinoids from an axon of one neuron to another dendrite of another neuron. When TCH is released in the brain is cause rested Neurons, which are part of your nervous system, that are not in use to become active in that it keeps those neurons firing neurotransmitters. For example usually when you think of a dog you think of a pet but when THC is in your system you may think more broader like what type of breed is it, what color is the dog, is it a mix breed or an alpha breed, what’s the origin of the dog, what is the life expand of the dog, and is it an inside dog or an outside dog. In the article “5 Reasons Why Legalizing Marijuana Stinks” written by J. Lee Grady an author, award-winning journalist and ordained minister says in his article “There has been an 80 percent increase in marijuana use among teens since 2008.” (Paragraph, 7) If we legalize marijuana this teen will have an easier access on getting marijuana just like alcohol and tobacco. All it would take is a homeless or an adult who is 21 years of age and a little bit of a bride to get what you need, that is what teens are doing now a days. These 13 to 17 year teens that are getting there hands on marijuana and smoking it are affecting their brain cells because they are still growing and developing their brain and by using marijuana they are damaging their body which can conflict with they education and personal life.
