Cannabidiol (CBD) is the major non-psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plants marijuana and hemp. CBD does not cause a high in users, and has the ability to counteract some of the negative effects of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Numerous studies have been done that investigates the medicinal or therapeutic benefits to be had from CBD, and many shows promise in demonstrating that CBD has inflammatory, anticonvulsant, anti-oxidant, anti-emetic, anxiolytic and antipsychotic properties.
