Canis Major In Greek Mythology

The constellation I chose is called Canis Major. This constellation is one of Orion's hunting dogs. I chose this constellation because I feel that it has the most interesting origin myth. Canis Major was discovered by Ptolemy in the second century. Another fact about the constellation is that its brightest star is called Sirius. Sirius is the dog's nose.
