Most of our animal friends including dogs originally were all wild animals which over the years have been domesticated to suit a behaviour that in the past aided their carer undertaking a particular responsibility or task. A number of types of canines have been purposely bred with specific skills and disciplines in mind, and their temperament is a unmistakeable reflection of the countless years of shaping the type of dog for it's intended function.
