Candidate Thompson briefed all elements of the 5 paragraph order to accomplish the mission. Candidate Thompson was not confident when briefing his order. His inability to communicate clearly and abundance of pet words such as, "um", and "uh" caused confusion amongst his fire team members making it difficult to determine the current paragraph being briefed. During the execution phase, SNC was able to control his fire teams' formation and he often stopped to verify their direction of travel. SNC was able to maintain some level of control until his fire team was hit with enemy contact. Upon enemy contact SNC was hesitant and looked to members of his fire team for direction and guidance. SNC did not address the casualty in his fire team,
