Candidate Sugg was able to plot the waypoints correctly, however was unable to provide an azimuth and distance to target within acceptable parameters. SNC’s overall confidence increased throughout the delivery of his order, but early on was hesitant and appeared unsure of the information to brief his mission statement, with varying levels of audible nervousness in his delivery to the squad. During the conduct of the execution, he maintained adequate non-verbal control of his teams, moving throughout the column. However, his overall pace was slow and he spent longer than a tactical pause at potential danger areas along the route.
