Candidate Postel’s brief was complete; however he stumbled through the enemy situation and elements of the execution paragraph. SNC lacked volume and confidence in delivery of his order, remaining monotone throughout. When the team stepped off on execution, the azimuth was incorrect pulling the fire team to the far right of the objective. SNC’s non-verbal control was successful, however lacked a sense of urgency in moving his team, and upon receiving contact, there were no orders or an ADDRAC issued. There was clear confusion as to why the enemy was offset from their location due to the incorrect azimuth. Once they started involuntarily bounding, then an incomplete ADDRAC was issued and the team pushed to the objective. Even after the
