Candidate Bonner addressed all the required portions of the five paragraph order. It was clear and concise and he repeated his mission statement twice. He did not address security nor did he implement security. While executing the mission, SNC made adjustements to his plan rather quickly. SNC made his first adjustment to the plan at four minutes thirty seconds into the execution.…
9… Candidate Allison lacked command presence when she issued her order to her fire team. SNC was visibly uncomfortable with the five paragraph order and stumbled through the order. Candidate Garnica delivered a five paragraph order that lacked information and used filler words while briefing. She maintained good eye contact with the members of her team and was confident in her delivery. SNC failed to brief any of the "admin and logistics" and "command and signal" paragraphs. Although Candidate Garnica briefed a scheme of maneuver during the brief, it was obvious that she had not created an actual plan before beginning the execution. There was no clear transition between the end of the brief and the start of the execution.…
Candidate Walker demonstrated an above standard level of proficiency in briefing the five paragraph order. SNC briefed her order by speaking in a clear confident tone and making eye contact with each fire team member. Even though SNC stated the word Execution during the right sequence she did not give Tasks and Scheme and Maneuver until the end. SNC got her team moving quickly in the direction of attack with good dispersion and control but veered off course significantly. SNC eventually got back on track with the assistance of the evaluator.…
Candidate Sinclair, hereby referred to as SNC, confidently briefed a clear and logical order, however completely omitted the Admin and Logistics and Command and Signal paragraphs. At no time during the brief did SNC address the paragraph title or the information which should have been contained in those paragraphs. SNC issued a poor, partially-developed plan. SNC employed two subordinates as security and mandated these candidates provide security reports every 40 seconds; these subordinates were within 10 meters of SNC. SNC sent SNC’s remaining subordinate to continually physically check on the other two subordinates providing security.…
Candidate Bills delivered a very thorough and in depth five paragraph order. SNC was very diligent in ensuring that all information and additional information was passed to the fire team, at one point causing SNC to stumble over his thought process, and pause for a length of time to recoup his thoughts before moving on. This visibly flustered SNC. SNC lacked a sense of urgency by taking up a substantial amount of time to deliver the order. Upon completing the brief SNC took more time to square himself away failing to give any guidance to the fire team resulting in zero productivity.…
Candidate Green delivered a confident five paragraph order; however missed the Admin and Logistics portion. SNC successfully tasked each of the candidates throughout the evolution but neglected to cover the scheme of maneuver in detail causing some confusion early on with regard to negotiating the obstacle. However, during the execution phase SNC maintained a high level of confidence and despite not having a solid plan, he was able to delegate orders in a sufficient manner in order to keep his subordinate candidates continuously engaged. After being penalized several times, Candidate Green was able to maintain his composure and keep his team focused on accomplishing the mission by changing his initial plan which seemed to be working before…

Candidate Marsenison delivered his brief with confidence and command presence. SNC did not address the Admin and Logistics or the Command and Signal paragraph. SNC began to individually task each member of his team and posted security. He then attempted to devise a scheme of maneuver and stopped mid-sentence by stating “we will figure that out later” showing that he did no fully have an initial plan before addressing his team. Once the team started, SNC showed he was confident giving orders to subordinates.…
Candidate Holcomb briefed all of the required components of his five paragraph order. SNC also addressed security during the execution of his mission. SNC did conduct a leader's recon prior to coming up with a scheme of maneuver for his plan.
