Candidate Hills briefed with confidence, placing great emphasis on mission accomplishment, and briefing tasking statements with good detail and purpose, ensuring each member understood their purpose. However, Candidate Hills somehow became disoriented during the execution of movement to contact; he began walking in a 45 degree angle from his direction of attack and had to be guided back onto the correct azimuth by his fire team on at least two occasions before taking a casualty in the scenario.
