Candidate Bermudez Case

Candidate Bermudez utilized his prep time to conduct a leader’s reconnaissance. This proved to be helpful as he was able to critically prepare a solution to the problem and complete his operations order. Candidate Bermudez did not brief any of the coordinating instruction in regards to danger areas and his tasks were confusing. After security was established, Candidate Bermudez did not check on him and frequently had members of his Fire Team not engaged in the problem. He failed to lead by example as he stood at the back of the platform while instructing his Fire Team on what to do. This caused him to not be in the best place to command his Fire Team and not fully understand the complexity of the problem. As his solution failed to work,
