Candace Nicole Parker is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association. She went to Tennessee college. Parker believes, “You have to take the good and the bad. There are everyday challenges, but it is an ongoing fight to gain the respect women’s athletics deserves. But if you go out and are confident and prove yourself, you gain respect.” This shows that Candace Parker is a great basketball player and she tries to make people to have confidence in themselves. She inspires me to be a great basketball player and have confidentiality in myself.
