Hitchens was an author that had very successful books that everyone enjoyed. Christopher Hitchens was diagnosed with esophagus cancer. Hitchens did not let the fact that he had cancer stop him from enjoying his life as an author. He still proceeded to go make an appearance at his shows that he had scheduled and the book selling events he had scheduled before finding out the terrible news.
