It took us four days to get there, but we stopped a lot. On the way the we drove through Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. We did something cool in most of the states.

In Wisconsin we stopped at Wisconsin dells. Then in South Dakota we stopped at Evergreen National Park, the Badlands, Devils Tower, Crazy Horse, and Mountain Rushmore. In Washington we went to the Space Needle. We ate dinner there and went on the observation deck. That was in Seattle. At the Badlands we got out and climbed some. There was also a lot

One unique, true thing about me is that I own 5 Newfoundlands. I’ve owned a total of 5 in my lifetime. A lot can be learned from owning Newfoundlands. One of them we own now, Hoosier, is the size of a horse! On 2 legs, he would be about 6 feet tall.…

We came in the springtime so all the trees were in mid-bloom. When we got to my grandparents house we unpacked and got settled in while my mom and grandma made dinner and let me tell you,it was the best meal I ever ate. When we woke up the next morning we had breakfast and voted on which monument we wanted to see first and we decided on the FDR memorial.…

We got to see stalagmites, stalactites, flowstones, chandeliers and soda straws. We took lots and lots of pictures because if I didn't slow my family, I feel like they wouldn't have believed me. We spent about half our day there, and then after that she took me to the San Antonio Zoo. That zoo was humongous, way bigger than the one in the valley. I saw monkeys, elephants, rhinoceros, lions, zebras, and even penguins.…

The University of Southern California is a top notch facility with premier applicants from every corner of the world, each with something that is essential to understanding them. As for myself, I feel as if my story would not be complete without telling the tale of my rural upbringing. Coming from a modest town of 2,144 residents in northwest Indiana, my day to day experiences have been a lot different than those I would encounter in Los Angeles, California. While going from being surrounded by people who ride their donkeys to school to being surrounded by people who ride their long boards to school would be quite a culture shock, it is exactly the type of adjustment I need to transition into my adult life. Although the environment I grew…

I believe that it does matter if we can communicate with each other willingly. As I came from the Philippines, it took me more than a year to learn the basic of the Canadian culture. It took longer than it should be because I wasn't really willing at the beginning, and I had a bit of a culture shock. After a year of my stay in Canada, I started to adapt and love the culture, as well as the people. It really matters if we are willing to communicate, because then it means we are also willing to learn other's culture and to be able to remember other's traditions the next time we encounter them.…

Canada, like most countries obviously have a motive to protect their heritage and to make sure that the culture is not dominated by outside sources so with that in mind, one can claim that the arguments from the Canadian side are genuine indeed. On the other hand this kind of cultural global trade is usually encouraged and beneficial to both sides. In this particular case it is stated that 89% of the magazines in Canada are imported from the united states, which can show on a somewhat problematic situation where the average Canadian reader is influenced mostly by the culture of their neighbor. The Canadian government was indeed pressured, mostly by the magazine industry itself due to financial aspects.…

"Have a nice trip to hell. " Smirking, the American agent looked through the sight of his pistol, staring straight into the recently captured Russian spy's eyes. Fun as this may be, he still had to line up the shot properly so that there was no chance of the spy's survival. Grasping the trigger now, the American slowly exhaled, so as to remain absolutely still.…

After we ate we started going around to sites where we could take pictures of the city. The big site we were going to was the top of the Mount Lee which is where the Hollywood sign is located. I was very nervous because it was hot outside, but excited that we were going to climb all the way to the top. Before going to the sign though my sister said she had a surprise for us and that we were going to love this next place. After walking for awhile we finally made it to a big cave.…
