Canada is a country which any canadian can be proud of. Canada throughout the years shows other people how caring it is of everything around it because of how supporting the country is about gender rights, peace movements around the world and the environment. Canada shows it’s support for gender rights by letting people love who they want to love, letting canadians know that this country believes that all genders are equal and by letting everybody getting paid the same for the same amount of work and effort regardless of gender. The reason why this shows how a Canada respects everyone no matter who they love because it displays that Canada is a country where no one is discriminated and everyone is free to love who they want because of open it is, many Canadian are proud to live in a country that respects all forms of love. Furthermore, Canada shows respect to all genders, this is displayed in bill C-127 where it is stated that “the idea at only men could commit rape was abolished...spouse immunity was ended (ie sexual conduct between spouses must be consensual) the doctor of recent complaint was abolished so that a failure to complain at the first response opportunity no longer harms the complaint’s credibility”(Canadian Encyclopedia,14/06/2016).
