EDWIN M. HARTMAN. (2006). Can We Teach Character? An Aristotelian Answer.
Introduction:
The main focus of the article, Can We Teach Character? An Aristotelian Answer by Edwin M. Hartman is to teach readers many lessons throughout the reading. An important quote from the article regarding towards Aristotle is, “Ethics is about virtue, which is a matter of one’s own well being primarily, but as we are rational and social creatures, this state of well-being entails having what we would consider good moral values.” As I was reading the essay, he got me to think of how some people consider good morals are far different from other people’s perspective on what to be right or wrong. One doesn’t obtain good character overnight. My reaction to this was for other readers to understand the knowledge the author is trying to point out and to share it other people.

The author conveys many different key points in the article and proves main points of why readers would think certain points might be right.
