“Can Smartphones make Kids smarter?” As the years go on the increasing number of smartphones being used should not come as a shock to anyone. The percentage of children,ages 5 to 7, who have or use cell phones on a daily basis is 20%. In today’s society it is very normal for a parent to hand their child their phone to keep them busy when they are working. This is considered the “pass-back” effect. Si it should come as no shock to any parent that when a child is asked what their favorite toy is they respond, cell phones. With the number of children interactive apps popping up on everyone itunes or google play store over the years, a big question has arose.
