According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, Religion is defined as the worship of a superhuman or a belief in a God. Over the ages, we as human beings have seen may wars waged. However, a vast amount of these wars have varying principles on which war had begun.War is defined as the state of armed conflict between different countries or different groups within a country ( Oxford Dictionary); Some debate on whether the root cause of warfare is deeper than just misconceptions, or the overall security of citizens. According to Rabbi Alan Lurie Author of Five minutes on Mondays, there is a common misconception that people think that because of 10 wars surrounded by religion and the terrorist act committed on 9/11 that religion is the cause of war but this is only a small percentage when compared to all of the other bloodied wars like World War 1.
