It was mid of June our teachers took brought us up to class and went inside the classroom. They made an announcement and they had mentioned that all the 5th-grade classes are going on a trip and that was going camping at Peak. My body stood still for about a minute, I never went camping and I hate it. I kept always imagining that there are bugs in the cabin crawling onto the bed, bugs everywhere frightening me. I never went camping because it was far away from home. I look at the list that we need to bring on the trip, it felt that were are going to spend a lot of days there but it was an only night. After school, I got onto the school bus and went home. As my mom picked me up, I told her the terrifying and hated news, that the 5th-grade …show more content…
Every step I took my shoes keeps getting dirty and ruined. It was a little bit windy and it started to rain. The dirt on the floor started to get wet then there was so much mud on the bottom of my shoe. My feet were sore that I could not walk anymore. Our group were near a creek and stopped and was looking around and saw an orange lizard running on the branch of the tree. We stopped to take notes with our handmade notebook and it started to get wet that ruin a few of my drawings and writing. As we were done hiking in the forest we decided to head back to the cafeteria to eat dinner. The cafeteria staff was serving the food that was meatballs and spaghetti with tomato sauce. It was very delicious that kept me warm and wanted me to get seconds. After dinner, there was one last activity for the day and that was canoeing. I hate being in the water because I couldn't swim. When we paired up a group of three, one of assistant pushed our canoe and we were off into the water. I was a bit paranoid and my body was shivering because I didn’t want this canoe to tip over. As my group was paddling and paddling slowly a beaver was under our canoe and feeling scared. The assistant shouted come back to put your canoes away and realized that it was not as bad what I thought it

Most teenagers would probably tell you that the beginning of their adulthood was marked by having to do laundry for the first time, or being able to drive alone, or perhaps no longer sitting at the children's table at family events. But for me, it happened this past summer, when I made the very difficult decision that I would not return to Coleman Country Day Camp. To those who were not fortunate enough to have grown up at summer camp, this might not seem like such a big decision to make. But Coleman was my outlet, my second home for ten consecutive summers and spending those two months anywhere else seemed inconceivable to me.…

Scraping your knee on the sidewalk, getting hit hard with the basketball, falling off the monkey bars, these are just a few examples of ways you can get hurt at school. The worst case scenario is you would end up going to the school nurse as a result of an accident. Before first grade, suffering an injury was way out of the norm for me. The only time I got hurt in first grade, I bypassed the school nurse and went straight to the hospital. It was a scalding August afternoon, and I just finished another tiring day of first grade.…

The Hunting Camp From 2006 until 2010 my father, uncle, and I were all members of a hunting club. Although we were there to hunt, it was likely the smallest aspect of the trip. We spent more time around a campfire than we did in any tree stand. The camp, for me anyways, was broken into three major areas: the hunting grounds, the campgrounds, and the camper itself.…

When I looked at my phone I saw that my dad was calling me and when I answered my dad told me not to walk home in the rain and just wait it out. Once I got to the main high school building, I walked through the maze of hallways and lockers, and finally just finally I made it to the front of the building.
