Based on the analysis of annual report 2015, the basic strategies used by Campbell’s Soup Company (CPB) to respond to uncertainty is prospector strategy. Prospectors are who that focus on developing new markets or services and in seeking out new markets, rather than waiting for things to happen. That is the organization will create their own opportunities, and not just wait for it to happen.

CPB is an organization that focusing on innovation and they are constantly searching for new ideas. In recent years, CPB has introduced 100's of new products with the original ideas, for many of these new products are coming from a wide range of sources which including consumer and business partners. Moreover, CPB also puts in a lot of efforts in advertising
