Campbell Soup Co. (CPB) engages in manufacturing and selling packaged convenience food products such as simple meals, soup, juice and snacks. It has three segments: Americas Simple meals operating in the U.S. and Canada and Latin America, Global Biscuits and Snacks focused in the U.S., Asia Pacific and Australia, and Campbell Fresh concentrated in the U.S. Besides Campbell’s Soup, CPB has developed or acquired several well-known brand names, such as Bolthouse Farms, Garden Fresh Gourmet, Pepperidge Farm, Kelson and V8.
CPB has struggled to compete especially prior to 2011, evidenced by sluggish revenue growth from 2007 to 2011. The main reason could be changing demographics—Millennials and Generation Z are replacing Baby Boomers as the key
