Camp Harassment Paper

My harassment with Northwest YMCA Counselor Sensei begun at the mandatory staff training, May 16- May17, located at the Lexington YMCA Outdoor Camp Facility. Sensei began taking articles of my clothing, and fled when asked to return the item. Sensei would look at me inappropriately at work, scanning between my legs and scanning back up to my face. This occurred especially during dinner at training and as well as the entire first week of camp. Sensei even texted me asking me to go on a walk late at night during training. Sensei would making inappropriate comments at camp to me like, “You don’t even know, you’re lucky your boyfriend found you first!” This became a morning regular from Sensei. I felt so comfortable at work that I began to wear …show more content…
I have only used projective tones to get children’s attention while playing, i.e. in the woods, or while trying to get music volume to turn down. This acquisition of a report is complete slander and did not occur. Melissa then stated that I would have an individual meeting and Sensei would have an individual meeting and then come together to find a consensus for working with the Teen group, and she would “try me” in the 7-8 group because the kids were starting to feel a difference in myself and Sensei’s work-ship. I have heard Sensei refer to a teen camper as the pet names sweetheart while playing, which I do not believe is appropriate for this age group. I have watched him pick up a teen campers leg and tie her shoe in his lap, which I do not believe is appropriate for this age group. I have also watched Sensei leave to another room with a group of girls during an activity, which I do not believe is appropriate for this age group. I was forced to use an alert tone to get those girls out of that room hanging out alone with Sensei, as I sensed a sign of danger. He also has provocatively flirted with his camp counselor girlfriend Tweety, in front of the Group X the same …show more content…
I do not agree that this was handled properly and justly, nor did any meeting occur to benefit the relationship between me and this counselor occur in a timely manner. I wanted to move on and continue working with the Teens as stated, but this said opportunity never occurred. Yesterday, 6/25/2015, Melissa placed me again with the 7-8 group, stating she moved me for various reasons, and she cut my hours down, placing me with an under-ratio group, forcing me, the only counselor without a group, to leave at 12pm missing 4 hours of my pay period, which almost equated to $30. When I was hired, I was in agreeance that I would be working full-time and could reach 40 hours. There is no way for my manager to fulfill that employment agreement by moving me to a group for a half of day and sending me

I have been working in a nursing home for a little over a year as a dietary aide and have witnessed many problems within the dietary department. The root cause to all of the problems in the dietary department is bad management from my former manager, Sara. Bad management existed in the kitchen because Sara gave overtime to her employees like it was candy.
