Everyone has those moments, whether it is an experience or an achievement, that has special meaning to them. My experience happened in the middle of nowhere in Missouri at a place called Camp Barnabas.

Camp Barnabas is a Christian camp for kids with special needs. Each week is designed for different disorders. The week that I served as a missionary was the week for the developmental disorders, autism, and physical disabilities. My camper was a 17 year old girl named Breannah. The campers' unwavering faith taught me that there is always a light at the end of the

Even in the midst of shock and disbelief they needed a visible reminder of God’s presence. There were no words to fix or even begin to explain the horror of their grief but my mere presence helped to point them to God’s never-failing love and presence in the midst of the worst day of their lives. When I returned home from that emotionally and spiritually exhausting visit, I immediately walked the prayer labyrinth in my backyard. As I walked and foolishly prayed for the “right words to say”. God reminded me (with a fat raindrop to the top of my head) that I was not alone, the family was not alone; God was present with us in the tears, grief and the subsequent anger and doubt after a loss of a young life filled with so much potential.…

People throw questions such as, how do you think worship should be constructed, should women lead the church, was Jesus even a real man who walked this earth, and furthermore. I am going to be presenting about prisoners of war, specifically what constitutes a POW and what can and can’t happen to them under the Geneva Convention. I will only be talking about Article 13, the treatment of POW’s, Article 26, the food rations, and labour and article 53 about the legal and moral purpose of this issue and its strategic/security importance.
