Cameroon is a country in Africa that has a variety of landscapes. It has resources that are valuable to other countries. Cameroon consist of national parks, cities, beaches, a reserve, and a river. There is over 250 racial groups in Cameroon. This means that there is many different religions practiced. Many of the religions practiced are Christianity, Muslim, Catholics, Protestants, and some worship their ancestors. The diversity of this country can be broken up into three groups the south,west,and north. In the north the most common race would be the Fulani. Other ethnic groups in the north consist of Katoko,Choa, and Kirdi. The west is made up of the Bamoun and the Bamileke. Ancestors from the south were Baka,Bakola, and Bofi. other ethnic …show more content…
Some landscapes that are found in Cameroon are national parks, cities, beaches, a reserve, and a river. A landscape in Cameroon that is unique would be Mount Cameroon. Mount Cameroon is a active volcano which has erupted several times. Another landscape Cameroon consist of is Waza national park, it is a habitat to a variety of different animal species. Another national park in Cameroon is Korup, in this national park you can see hundreds varieties of trees, birds, and a variety of reptiles and amphibians. Limbe is a city in Cameroon where you will find beach sands. Another city in Cameroon known for its beach would be Kribi. Kribi is also known for its seaport. The city Douala is known as the party city of Cameroon due to the music scenery this city projects. Another city in Cameroon is Maroua which is known for its market. The city of Yaounde is known for adventuring out on your own and grazing the national parks. Yaounde is also also known for their train transportation to head north to Cameroon. A fascinating landscape in Cameroon would be the Dja Faunal reserve. The reserve is protecting Western lowland gorillas and forest elephants. The Dja Faunal reserve is land that is not allowed to be destroyed due to animals being close to extinction.The reserve is not only known for protecting mammals but also home to a huge variety of birds and
