The story begins in Camelot, a great kingdom where the king has been prophesied to die and leave his infant son without protection from enemies. After the king hears this he sends the child to be raised by a nobleman and his wife in secret. Years later, after the king has died the kingdom is left without a known heir to the throne. So the court wizard, Merlin, decides to make an enchantment on an anvil and sword so that only the true king could pull the sword out, in order to open it to the public as a challenge and find the next king.
After sometime the king’s son Arthur comes across the sword in the anvil while trying to find a sword for his brother. Arthur, unknowing of the challenge pulls the sword out of the anvil to deliver to his brother.
