The book I read for my second report is called Your First Two Years in Youth Ministry by Doug Fields. I found this book to be very practical and encouraging. At multiple points throughout the book, Fields challenges the readers attitude. He forces the reader to re-evaluate their own situation. Fields portrays a humbleness, but I also found him straight forward, he cut to the point.…

Without the relationships I have made with the girls in my grade at Northwest I am not sure if I would have even continued my walk with God. Not only have my friends been a major influence, but so have my teachers. During class they just have shown the light of Jesus through their teaching. I have embraced the style of teaching from a christian worldview, which I had never had before. Some teachers have sat with me and talked for hours, and that has really opened my eyes as to how much they want to pour into us.…

I attended a 10 week long summer project in Tampa, Florida where I learned to share my faith for the first time and was able to led 5 people to Christ. It was a joy and a passion that begin to grow in my life. I developed a heart to take the gospel back to my campus where I wanted other people to hear the same thing that I had heard, knowing they could be in the same position I was at in college.…
