"The Origin of Species" and the "The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate" have a special relationship. Charles Darwin’s book opens up each chapter of Calpurnia Tate. For example Chapter 23 “The Fentress Fair”. “How fleeting are the wishes and efforts of man! How short his time! And consequently how poor will his products be, compared with those accumulated by nature. That means that man needs to enjoy life for what it is. Even with all the mistakes man needs to learn to accept that. Because man is not perfect he wishes that everything would be perfect with everything given to them.
