Thus, hitting the ball with a heavier club head, results in more distance than a lighter one (Newton Science). For our project we are using a kids cobra driver, which has a light head. It will not affect our project though because all the balls will be hit with the same driver and if there is a difference, it will show. Back to hitting the ball, the way you strike it matters too (Newton Science). You need to push your hands and get your hips through. If you don't do this the ball won't go straight. It will either hook to the left or slice to the right. Conclusion Let's take a look at our research paper one more time and briefly go over what we talked about. We talked about history of golf ball, Titleist Pro V1, Callaway Warbird, why do golf balls have dimples, hitting the ball, and mass and velocity. Once again our purpose to our experiment is to see: do more expensive golf balls go farther than less expensive golf balls. Based on our research our hypothesis is that you won't see much of a difference but the Titleist Pro V1 will go farther because it have more dimples and that will produce a better air flow and less drag. Thank you for reading this paper and I hope you learned a lot about the golf ball and how it …show more content…
This has created a notion in the minds of many that they can't afford to play golf, because of the cost of equipment, and the cost to get on the course. Fortunately you can start golfing for very little money. You can borrow golf clubs, or find a used set for next to nothing, and pay $10 or so every time you go golfing. Here are some great tips that will you be able to golf for less: Shop Online - EBay and other auction sites are a great place to purchase putters, drivers, and other golfing equipment. You can quite often find some amazing deals on name brand clubs with a couple of scratches. Don't even consider worrying about scratches when you first start out, because it's just something that's going to happen for beginning golfers. You will scratch your clubs, it's not that big of a deal. When you get more advanced and more experienced, you can go out and get yourself a better set of clubs without scratches. Befriend a Golf Pro - This is a very important thing to do if you're just starting out golfing. Usually you'll be able to get discounted lessons or perhaps even free lessons if you know the person very well. Pro's are always getting new clubs and equipment, and maybe you'll get lucky enough to inherit some of the equipment that they no longer use or want. You won't get brand new top of the line stuff, but you'll get good quality clubs for literally nothing. Play It Again Sports - Play It Again Sports and
