Have you ever had a sled dog team?In the book The Call of the Wild, a dog named Buck was sent to the yukon for a sled dog team and his adventures begin there. The Call of the Wild is a great novel and there are many themes in it but i could only pick one.There are many great events in the call of the wild and many quotes to read that are related to the themes, mine is survival of the fittest. The Call of the Wild is written by Jack London an author who went to the Klondike in search of gold to help his family. Mad Pack of huskies with rabies attacked the sled dog team they needed to protect themself if they don't want to get killed. When one went to attack Buck,Buck killed him and enjoyed it.“Buck got a frothing adversary by the throat, and was stained with blood when his teeth sank into the jugular” (London 30).Buck was able to protect him from the huskies because he learned to fight and where to attack that's why buck was still alive until the end of the book. Many things have happened to Buck in the buck but this was the worse thing that have happened to him.John Thornton was Buck’s favorite master. Buck was in the woods try too were the moose down and when he came back to the camp there was bob on the ground face down with arrows in him.Buck saw a blood trail leading to the river,it was John's Thorntons.Buck got revenge by killing the group of yeehats.“He did not pause to worry the victim,but ripped in passing, with the next bound tearing the throat of a second man” (London 104). Buck was too strong and fast for the yeehats, Buck was able to to kill some of the group of yeehats very deft this proves he is a very strong and would not die without a fight.
