The call of the wild was based on a dog named Buck. He used to live in california with his original owner. A group of men came and took Buck and sold him as a sled dog that works in the Yocan. There he was hee had arrived by ship. There was a lot of risk like dying from cold weather no food or water no shelter and predators. But Buck still fight he meant spits a while ago he was a mean dog. He does not know english only spanish and everyone else does so it is very hard for him to communicate to anyone.
