Call of Duty 4 came out in November of 2007, and it was the most popular Call of Duty that ever existed. The design of this CoD was unbelievably amazing, the company who made it, Infinity ward, got millions, even billions of dollars for it. (www.eurogamer.net, 2014) The best thing people liked about Call of Duty 4 was the multiplayer, which allows you the ability to play online with players across the world, and they also enjoyed the campaign, which is the story mode to the game. This new series was created by Treyarch, and came out on November 9, 2010. One of the most famous designers, David Vonderhaar, made the designs for Black Ops 1 absolutely flawless. In Black Ops 1, they bring back the classic zombies mode from Call of Duty World at War. In the first week of Black Ops coming out, it hit $1 million worldwide sales. But in the first day, it sold $360 million copies, worldwide. (www.cnet.com, 2010) Black Ops 1 easily bested Modern Warfare 2 with the sales, and how many copies were sold worldwide, but Modern Warfare 2 still holds more records. In the first day, Call of Duty Black Ops 1 sold 5.6 million copies, which turned into $360 million worth of sales. Since this game was a start of a new Call of Duty series, it did incredibly well, with the pre-orders of the game, the amount of sales that were on the first day, and the amount of copies that were sold worldwide on November 9, 2010. (www.gamerant.com, 2011) In 2012, fans voted Call of Duty Black Ops 1, the best game with the best campaign ending. (www.guinnessworldrecords.com, 2012) A huge part that changes Black Ops 1 is that it brings back an old zombies map, which fans loved. Treyarch also brought a multiplayer map that changes the future forever. (www.techtimes.com, …show more content…
It was developed by Infinity Ward, with assistance from Ravens Software, Neversoft and Certain Affinity. Ghosts is a new start for Infinity Ward, starting a new experience with a new campaign and a fresh start on a new series of Call of Duty. This game added a gamemode quite interesting. That gamemode is called “Extinction,” which is about killing aliens that crash on planet Earth and you have to survive before they kill you. (www.call-of-duty-ghosts.blogspot.com, 2013) In the campaign mode, you play as the main character, and you have a special partner beside you. The partner is a K9 dog named Riley. You do get to play as Riley, but not for a long time, but he is really cool to play as. Infinity Ward wanted to add in some cool new features, such as the Alien Mode, the dogs in the campaign and multiplayer, they also added a cool sliding feature that makes you slide while you’re running to get around a little quicker. (www.shortlist.com, 2013) Many peoples opinions say that Infinity Ward stopped doing the Modern Warfare just to start a new future for them, along with a new series. Call of Duty Ghosts came out on November 5, 2013 and sold over $1 billion copies in the first day. (www.cinemablend.com,

The Playstation has a game that the Xbox does not have as well but the game isn’t as well know. This game is Uncharted and it’s a series as well.…
