There are certain qualifies people look for in a leader. Throughout centuries, villages and empires look up to a resilient leader. The concept of leadership has been around for as long as their people to led and others to follow them. Many leaders gain their leader traits, behavior, connections, and power influence through their background and motives. Most leaders have their own drive to accomplish their goal. All leaders are not great ones. There are different names and titles to a leader such as dictator, tyrant, oppressor, and others. To reflect on those titles, Hannibal, Caligula, and Wu Zetian exhibit different qualifies of leadership based on their background and motives to portray the names historians have put upon them. Hannibal reflect to be more honorable than the others. He only wanted to accomplish a goal his father could not achieve. He didn’t finish the goal, but he was surely close. While Caligula achieved nothing more than fear, he did not have any motives, but it is truly believed his manipulation of power was for revenge and a sense of grief for his family. His behavior towards the end of his reigned exhibits what he learned from Tiberius. He should not be blamed for. On the other hand, Wu Zetian was just a product of intelligence. Because she knew too much due to her sex, she was a threat ever since she was a young girl. She knew this. She utilizes her knowledge and power to establish a better dynasty to live up to. These leaders only act as they were because of their childhood. They could not write their own history, but it was written for them. From what they learned, they establish great leadership skills people still borrow today. The important lesson learned from the leaders is to never show weakness. It will not establish
