After reading the description for the administrative support assistant II for the Career Center I feel as though I am more than qualified to fill this position. As my resume states, I am a highly skilled individual. As a recent graduate of the college and former student employee at the Meriam Library, I feel as though I have a strong understanding of student and staff life at California State University Chico.
My previous experience working with the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Department and an attorney's office make me a prime candidate for this position. My ability to communicate through both written and verbal scenarios set me apart from others. I am also familiar with learning and explaining policies to visiting patrons. My experience as an assistant instructor at the Mariposa Martial Arts Academy gave me the drive to step up and handle any task at hand. I am not afraid of working in groups or individually, nor am I afraid to give or follow direction. …show more content…
I also prefer to do my job in a timely manner without sacrificing detail. I have found that my determination and confidence has set me apart from my fellow classmates. My school work and occupation have always been attended to with excellence in mind.
To conclude, I am not afraid of hard work and I am a quick learner. I take criticism well and I am also open to adjusting my style to better fit with the that of your department. I am a confident individual who is willing to take charge and lead, but I also have the ability to follow suit when necessary. I feel as though I could bring to the table a new level of excitement and commitment upon entering the position of an administrative support assistant II.
