I think Cal State San Bernardino is a good fit for me. The University ensures a safe and diverse environment, and I’ve heard positive things from teachers who graduated from the University and my friends who are currently attending. I’m want to complete all of my general education at San Bernardino Valley College and in addition, the requirements needed to be eligible for the nursing program. The Department of nursing at the university offers a Bachelors of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in nursing degree programs. My goal is to successfully complete the Bachelors Of Science Degree in Nursing. Students who graduate from the program learn how to provide care to individuals and families, apply the knowledge of healthcare policies to support the nursing process, demonstrate leadership qualities, how to use different ways of communication, participate in the processes to improve patient care, the knowledge of nursing science, clinical practice, nursing professional code of conduct, and important nursing values. In order to complete the program, students must pass every course in the curricula, and pass the National Council Licensure Examination. Upon updating my educational plan, I learned all of the requirements I need to fulfill in order to be accepted into the program and reach my ultimate goal. I’m determined to continue to my education at Cal State San
