To whom it may concern:

I received a letter of academic dismissal from California State University-Fullerton. I am writing to appeal my dismissal from the university. I am writing to explain the cause of my bad academic performance and would like to ask you to reinstate me for next semester.

I take full responsibility of my poor academic performance and the grades I received in the last semester. I am not someone who likes to make excuses for the shortcomings in my academic performance, but I would like to take this opportunity to explain the reasons behind my poor performance. I have performed fine in my classes until recently, and I strongly believe that I still could have, except that my grandmother fell sick with pneumonia twice. She

All of the responsibilities of the cremation are over. My grandmother’s ashes were successfully sent back to India. I do not have any more duties towards my grandmother. I can now concentrate on studying and devote more time to studying.

I sincerely hope that my disqualification appeal will be granted. I will take proper measurements to improve my grades and my GPA. I will devote all of my free time to study. All of my concentration will be on studying. I will leave my job if it is going to affect my grades in any way. Also, I will talk to my advisor, the program director and communicate more with professors to make sure I do not perform poorly in my classes again for any reason. I will not look at the past and will only focus on the future.

I hope that through this appeal I have shown that I am not a bad student and that I want to successfully graduate from California State University. Please do try to understand that my poor academic performance was due to the bad events and circumstances that were out of my reach. Not being able to devote enough time and focus does not indicate that I am a not a good student. I hope you understand my situation and will give me an opportunity to prove that I am a good

First, I apologize for not responding more expeditiously regarding your letter asking for support at Springwood. You’re one of the few who are at the center of my character and Christian based education and I owe you and the school more than I could ever give monetarily. I thank you for pouring your life into me when I was much younger and then as an adult when you sent a “rock” with me into combat. You planted many seeds of which some are still sprouting as validated by this letter.…

My grades this past year were and are not indicative of who I am as a student, or as a person in general. My junior year of high school, I decided to do PSEO, thinking it was an easy way to get credits for both high school and college. I did not realize the struggle I was going to have just trying to be accountable for myself during my senior year. My daily schedule consisted of work, soccer, managing the high school boy’s hockey team, volunteer work, spending time with my high school friends and taking college courses. I took the most challenging classes through Anoka-Ramsey Community College, thinking that like high school these would be the best for me.…

First and foremost, thank you for taking time out of your day to reading this application. I have spent many hours thinking of what to write in this section, ever since I was given the withdrawal status back in the winter term. Hopefully by the time you finish reading this explanation, you will realize what happened to me, and how I have changed from the child I was, to the person I was always meant to be through the understanding of my epiphany. Hopefully, I will be able to persuade the committee to allow myself back into your prestige university. Also, forewarning, this explanation may seem bleak, but this is the reality.…
