Arrghhh!! (Opening his eyes), I have been isolated in the darkness of silence. I was trapped within the four walls, just like a bird in a cage counting on days for life to get over or to get the freedom to fly. You may be worried about why I screamed? Sorry if I scared you. I just had a bad dream where I lost all of my chances to get my memory back. Yeah, you may call me Psycho that everyone calls me. I remember nothing. I don 't know anything. Heck, not even my name but you can call me Alamea. Heh, Heh. I am Alamea. You may think I have lost my mind. Don’t worry no need to hide from me because I won’t get mad at you, you don’t know even one thing that has happened to me. All I know is I have been alone in the darkness of the four walls.

My best friend whom know since my childhood. Her name was Alamea, something was special in her. We have been friends for such a long time, but our relationship never turned into love. It was until Alistair came into our college as the scholarship student. He was a thinker who was very polite, shy and passionate about science. He was just totally opposite of me. I don’t know what she loved about him. He used to live right in front of the house where Alamea lived. Their rooms were positioned the way that their windows were right in front of each other. At every night, when everyone is sleeping, he used to open his window curtains to use his telescope to look up in the sky. He looked into the sky until almost half an hour. While he looked up into the sky he used to speak so romantically that he might be flirting with them. One day Alamea woke up from her sleep and opened her window. She found him looking up at the sky. She thought it was sweet. The next couple of days they started building friendship. And after a couple of years they were in a

⎯ At the end of her monologue about the cost of the plastic surgery that she had in order to construct this ideal image of herself , Agrado says “it costs a lot to be authentic…you are more authentic the more you resemble what you’ve dreamed of being.” Agrado is both male and female, in the sense that she feels comfortable with her male sex organs, but strives towards this feminine ideal in other avenues of physical appearance. Agrado’s definition of authenticity relates to how her identity is represented through her body and what she choses to do with that body in spite the gender expectations entailed with her biological sex. She complicates the binary between male and female, and reveals that there is no real point of origin for gender.…

“The destination is on our right in two hundred ten feet,” I directed. We had entered San Francisco around one in the afternoon.
