California Narrative

This was the first day with my friend going to California. Our trip began a few hours after school had ended when we picked up my friend, and embarked on our long six hour drive to California. After a couple of hours the car was getting uncomfortable, and we stopped to get some fuel for the car. Which gave my friend and I a chance to walk around and get snacks from the gas station. Of course we got a lot of junk food and some drinks that would last us for the remainder of the car ride to the hotel marking the halfway mark of our ride. After we drove about three hours, the sun had set and the sky was pitch-black. My parents decided we would continue to drive in the morning and we checked into the hotel my dad had booked off the internet. It …show more content…
Then after breakfast my parents went on a walk, and my friend and I went down to the park and played volleyball and see the sealions again, but after it got boring we went back to the hotel to go to the pool. When my parents got back we met back up on the roof where we ate lunch and decided what we wanted to do for the rest of the day. Then my dad took my friend and I to a cool cave where went down over a hundred stairs to see the ocean from a cave, then we climbed all the way back up. After that we went on a miniature hike up a very pretty mountain/hill with a lot of flowers and a gorgeous view of the great blue ocean. Then we drove to another beach where we were able to swim and tan. But later ended up getting very sun burnt all over that hurt very bad , but when we were driving home we got ice cream. Then we rested at the hotel for a bit, and to get ready for dinner. While we were walking to dinner we stopped at a cool museum for National Geographic, where we saw lots of interesting photographs. After dinner we got ice cream for the second time, then we went back to the hotel and fell asleep.
For our last morning in california we woke up, ate breakfast on the roof again, then we went to the pool for the last time. After that we went back to the hotel and packed our things and said our sad goodbyes to our hotel. We checked out of our
