I wish this could have been about Berkley or even Caltech two colleges that I’m really interested in because of their physics programs. However, since they were so far away, and my dad didn’t want to take me, I decided to pick something close, Fresno City College. I know that I will be going to a community college, and will be then transferring somewhere else, hopefully, Berkley. This is the third time that I've visited Fresno City College, and each time I’m taken back by the size. On another occasion, I visited Cal Poly, as a club trip, and that place was also huge. This time, when I went I was more vigilant and paid more attention than before. To me, there was nothing that impressive about it. It may have that after seeing Cal Poly FCC just didn't seem up to par. As I walked around FCC's campus one thing that I noticed was just the variety of people. There was so much diversity, and I really liked that. Having people of different backgrounds and ethnicities provides us with unique perspectives that would be valuable in a learning environment. As I passed people by I overheard them talking about their courses and their plans. They were thinking ahead and being responsible, and I realized that was going to be me in a few years so I better start getting my life together. I walked into the library and it was a huge place for everyone to study and complete their assignments. The library was the one thing that stood out to me the most maybe it's because I just loved seeing so many books or that it seemed like a great place to learn or just the architecture of it. I kept going around passing some buildings Music and Arts, stuff that I’m not really into. There was building for Applied Technology, actually a whole lot of them.
