Cal Newport's Deep Work Analysis

The Andover experience, while rigorous, has repeated been cited as excellent preparation for college and beyond. I would seek input from others in the community. For example, my tour guide, Paul, cited that Sunday was key. If he was productive on Sunday, his weekday homework was quite manageable. I expect to glean additional insights from other students.
I would continue to use Google calendar to allocate time for prioritized activities, whether they be academic, athletic or social. Key to my time management will be focused attention with minimal distraction, a skill I am trying to improve. Cal Newport’s book, “Deep Work,” highlights several proven approaches, in particular intensity, that I am working on incorporating into my daily plans,
