In Warrior, Tommy Conlon is a retired U.S. Marine who shows up, looking for his father to train him, after being absent from his father’s life for several years. Both Brendan and Tommy represent Cain and Abel depending on the part of the movie were in. In the first half of the movie, before Tommy comforted his father, Tommy was Cain while Brendan was Abel. Tommy was antisocial and wanted nothing more to do with Brendan as he saw that Brendan had betrayed him and had decided to stay with their father. He desired nothing, except to simply beat Brendan up into a bloody pulp. Brendan is Abel and tries to bridge the 15 year gap created by the years of separation the two had faced. The night that the two brothers meet on the beach, Tommy killed the bridge just like Cain killed Abel. In the second half of the story, Brendan is Cain and Tommy is Abel. Brendan manages to defeat Koba and Tommy defeats Mad Dog Grimes. They then meet in the final battle. The two brothers fight viciously; Brendan gets attacked brutally. Brendan has a more precise goal that also hits close to home, literally- his home might be foreclosed if he does not manage to win this fight. Throughout all of his fights, Brendana seems to exhibit a high tolerance to pain. This helps him in this fight as well since Tommy takes a more direct approach.In the end, Brendan mangages to neutralize Tommy. This is the part where Cain kills Abel. Brendan kills Tommy figuratively. He destroys the wall that Tommy had placed between them and now has a clear pathway to creating a new and
