• How can you design an investigation to observe the effects of caffeine on homeostatis?
Perform and Record
1. A double-blind research is an analysis in which either the participants or the experimenters know who is receiving a particular treatment. This practice is used to prevent bias in research results. A double-blind investigation is practical in this case because it is always important to make sure that bias work is not used.
2. The accomplishment of research involving the use of human beings concern many ethical concerns referring to values as dignity, integrity, freedom, and privacy. These ethical concerns also convert into a complex regulatory contraption concerning matters such as participant safety, consent, and confidentiality.
3. Since the use of caffeine is so widespread in today's society that many forget it is an addictive drug and can have many effects to the body. The short term side effects to caffeine are restlessness, nervousness, insomnia and diuresis. Long term side effects to caffeine may be addiction, spike in blood pressure, depression, anxiety, and an ulcer irritant.
4. For the human investigation, the body system that would be observed is the nervous system. The test group would include men and women aged 16-25, all healthy and from any ethnicity. The duration of the data collection would be six months.

If 90% of subjects did experience a certain reaction to caffeine, this breakthrough would be major because it would be evidence that daily doses of caffeine will cause these reactions to those who drink it often. In this case, that means the independent variable did have an effect on the dependent variable.
2. taking into consideration this would have been a six-month study, the investigators of this data would make sure that absolutely no bias information has been added and that the data would be all from trustworthy sources.
