It all began when Cady’s mom accepted a professorship at Northwestern University. For Cady, it meant that she was leaving Africa to move to the suburbs of Illinois. Also, she was no longer going to be homeschooled; instead she was going to attend Evanston High School. On the first day of school, she was stressed because in each of her classes she was getting in trouble for the oddest reasons. For example, when her science professor did not allowed her to use the restroom and she felt as if he did not trust her.
