costumers are well seen people, who succeded in life. In fact, we clearly see that both authors want to promote their vehicule by selling a admirable lifestyle, which comes with buying their car. Cadillac proposes a perfect, respectable, white and rich man, who succeded in life. They show that a Cadillac owner is rich and so he has a big house with a huge swimming pool, a fancy driveway, a impressionant kitchen and a perfect nuclear family. If you have a Cadillac, then you social status is higher and you look good. They want to sell their car by showing how a Cadillac makes your family perfect. If you worked hard in life and still are working then you want to prove others you are smart and have money, so you buy this luxurious car. In other words, their car should be owned by a categorie of person only. In fact, the video of Cadillac proves that to buy their car, you have to be rich and have a family. You see in the video how the owner is a typical rich men who is working hard to have everything he has. They show that the owner should have a huge house and many expensive things, or else you shouldn’t have a Cadillac, because you are not good enough. Also, they target only a minority of the viewers with their ad, because they show how you have to be rich and succesful to buy this car. In contrary, the Ford video is addresed to a majority of the population, because the lady is in a normal modest home, in the middle class, so she touches more people. The audience see how a normal women succeded in life, with a environmental friendly car, so they are easily affected by this ad, because they feel concerned.
