It was an interesting day at CVICU. My experience at any CVICU or ICU is very limited therefore I knew I was going to learn and see a lot there. My nurse was Linda and she only had one patient. I got to see how to transfer a patient to other hospital in a different state. My nurse spent a lot of time exchange information with the other hospital about the patient condition. She then contacted pharmacy about medication the airplane crews can give to the patient during the 3 hours’ flight. The whole process of successful transfer the patient took more than 4 hours. What took a lot of time was how delicate the patient was. The patient has a rare condition called shone complex. Shone complex is congenital heart disease that have four left-sided
