CV Link Project Analysis

The CV Link Project was established in 2013 and was mainly aimed at creating 80-mile walkway and biking pathway which is expected to connect the Eastern Riverside County Region in the state of California. This project of the Coachella Valley Association Government and is projected to bring along many benefits by the time it is fully constructed and launched. According to Chris A he stated that once the CV link is completed it would bring a lot of benefits to the cities and the economy First, accidents along the Highway 111 shall be minimal. In the U.S. bicycling is one of the popular modes of transport in many states where the residents ride along busy highways, hence, resulting to many conflicts with the motorists. Many kids use the Highway 111 while walking to school. Many kids end up in accidents where many are seriously injured as the rest die as a result of fatal accidents along the busy highway. School going kids are involved in accidents when they attempt to cross the highway and end up being knocked down by speeding motorists along the road. After the completion of the CV Link, the authorities are going to put up underpasses and overpasses that will ensure that the pedestrians are protected while on the road because they shall be walking away from the highway. (Stock, p.17) Thirdly, recreational facility shall be available. The CV Link has been established near golf courses where bikers and pedestrians are able to view the green fairways along the pathway. Benches have also been constructed and shades provided for those who wish to rest on the completed part of the CV Link as they enjoy the golfing activities on the nearby golf course.
