The layout of the courses and course work allowed me to balance life and my education. I have tremendous support from my fiance and son while I complete my degree. They understand it is hard for me to accept my time as a Firefighter may be done. They see me driven to finish this and despite a bump in the road I am still committed to providing the best life I can for them. I have a new appreciation for life after my medical issue and I want to make the best of it. I have a strong desire to finish my Bachelors Degree and then pursue a Masters through CSU-Global. In my first class I dedicated 12-15 hours a week in my studies and will at minimum do the same this time around. I know it is a lot of work but I enjoy it. I have an office at home where I can study and focus on my courses without distraction. I am a hard worker, success driven and passionate about completing my degree. My educational goals consist of acquiring a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Health Promotion and Policy (HPP). On the other hand, my career goal is to one day be able to open a wellness clinic where I will be able to educate people around me on the importance of taking their health seriously and how to go about doing so. However, I will not be able to achieve both my educational and career goals if I do not have the opportunity to start and complete my Master’s degree program.…

I am applying for readmission, as I would like to start afresh and improve the mistakes I had made in my first term ( Fall 2016). Since my last registration at University of Waterloo, I took lessons/help from fellow students on how to take tests, how to take proper notes and also how to be successful in the courses I will be taking in the future. During my first term, my main issue and why I could not perform to my full capabilities, was because I was not sure how to take notes, how to study for classes etc. Even though, I studied hard and did not procrastinate in any of my courses, I did not receive the marks I wished for and the…
