Hi Nadja, I think today we can hardly imagine a time when the Executive Branch was second in command to Congress, but based on what we learned in the last section, that is actually what the framers had intended. Remember how it was still fresh in their minds that they had emerged from under a monarchy and they intended to never experience that again? Also, that many delegates refused to attend the Constitutional Convention? That was because they had no desire for a centralized government and that's not what the people wanted either. Most colonists at the time were perfectly content with the idea of state sovereignty.…

I understand that accountability is a virtue that can actually be learned through experience. In fact being overseas helped me understand how important it was for other and me to know that I was someone who was accountable for my action and with every upgrade in rank I understood that because it was a privilege it also comes with higher responsibility. I am responsible for my actions that is also something I learned being in the Army. Therefore accountability is much more than just being dependable it also implies being responsible for one’s actions, knowing that when serving my country is important for others to know that I am a soldier they can count on and know that I am dependable and responsible. In fact when I first join the army I knew that my main mission was to serve my country and along the way I learn that I was also looking for something that was not part of my life that was the sense of accountability.…

To first explain why or how my general orders are important to me I must relay the purpose of the General Orders, which is to basically outline tasks, accountability, and responsibility for a soldier. The first General Order issues the command to secure everything within the limits of my post and quit my post if and on if properly relieved. What this is saying is once an NCO give me PV2 Bates an order, then it is my swore duty to carry out that task to the best of my ability. The simplest way I know the first General Order would be disrespected is not understanding or ignoring proper communication with my chain of command. In other words I should stay in my lane and try to the best of my abilities to complete the mission at hand and not deviate…
