CLAWS Inc.: Case Study

Improved Essays
Scope of work I am designing a fundraising plan this semester for CLAWS Inc. This plan is designed to be a comprehensive fundraising plan that includes new methods of fundraising for CLAWS. The fundraising plan will outline fundraising goals, the amounts desired, the current fundraising situation, the tactics used, and the proposed timeline. I intend to propose new ideas as well as research funding sources such as grants that can be applied to at a later date. I also intend to outline which projects I will take on at a later date, once this project is complete and I have more experience. For this semester I am only creating the plan and identifying possible new funding sources. No new fundraising ideas will be implemented until at least the spring of 2015. Timeline
For this fundraising plan our timeline is based on a combination of class requirements, nonprofit needs have not been established yet. The timeline is listed below:
● October 1st- Send out preliminary questions to CLAWS
● October 20th: Have engagement memo complete. Have background and nonprofit information complete for engagement product. Begin work on the product.

I am planning to look for alternative sources since many grantors would not supply funds for an operational cost. I am looking into a group of smaller fundraisers that collectively could raise the funds for a new building. A grant might be the best, or only way, to supply yearly funds for a

It is also part of my frustration in that I clearly see what needs to be done if this is going to work with the Pauls attached to this project.…

I would get permission of the authorities, and go talk to a hospital and see if they are interested in this project. Also, I think once a year, we could send care packages to veterans, and wounded soldiers. I think this would be a great service for those fighting for our country. If this is a possibility, I would try to go to an organization that sends donations to our soldiers, and ask them if they would want to go about this project. I would try to get donations from various students, and companies with the help of some other members.…
