CDFP 3: A Short Story

Decent Essays
Hi Melissa, you are still going to withdraw me from CDFP 3? I'm willing to take the W/F over an F. I do realize that I don't really do well in these classes at all. I don't really know what to do because, I need these classes to graduate. Although my skills are not where they should be unless I have time to practice.
Thank you!

Also Haig’s achievement in the 100 days war seems not to be recognized enough for the achievement. Historians explain how ‘it was Haig’s army which bore the brunt of the fighting,’ and that how that it was Haig’s military plan and leadership which caused this. Some sources believe that most historians ignore this event and ‘concentrate on 1916 and 1917.’ Secondly, there is evidence to say that Haig failed as a leader and military adviser, and does not deserve a statue in his honour. Many Historians believe that Haig was a ‘butcher’ who led thousands of innocent men to unnecessary death.…

It was February 2015, my class test for AP Calculus. I was struggling with my 2nd problem (out of 6) and half of my time had passed by. Looking at the next question, I groaned. I couldn’t remember how to compute the 2nd derivative of a function. That was when I realized how much I was struggling with the free response sections of the AP Calculus test, I took it into my own hands to study so I can achieve a 5.My teacher had told me that a 4 was sufficient but I aspired to achieve a 5 because that was my goal.…

‘Just one hour of this and you can go back to sleep’ was the phrase I groggily repeated to myself as I got ready to register for my freshman year of high school. Had I known that the mountain of paperwork I was about to fill out that late July morning would ultimately lead to me finding my passion, I would have definitely been a lot more enthusiastic. I traded all my information for my schedule, only to realize that there was one slight problem: P.E. was on my list of courses for the year. Physical education? I sought out my counselor immediately to fix this quandary.…

“Why I Chose Southwest” As a homeschooled high school senior, I am unable to take Advanced Placement courses, which are college-level classes taken at a high school. Students earn college credits by taking an exam at the end of the year. To remedy this, I decided to register at Southwest Tennessee Community College for dual enrollment classes. I chose Southwest for a multitude of reasons: to complete my high school education, to provide challenging courses in preparation for college, and to grant me college credit. I opted to take Pre Calculus, English Composition, and Anatomy & Physiology this semester.…

Unfortunately, the course lived up to its reputation and despite all the forewarning and planning I could not grasp the concepts or deal with the workload. My GPA fell and put me on probation and my subsequent appeal was declined in some sort of triple whammy.…

I took two classes for the summer of 2016, but the Interpersonal Communication class had me worried the most. I had a training with the army, and that required me to absence from school for two weeks. Unlike my other class, I didn’t have a chance to work ahead of the class with the instructor for the two weeks that I would be missing. Therefore, I was worried that I wouldn’t catch up with my classmates and end up failing the class. However, Ms. Anna was generous and extended the assignment due date for me; she even gave me an extra-credit assignment to replace the credits that I missed during my two weeks in training.…
