Overcrowding Problem Facing CCSF Classrooms It’s no surprise that California is experiencing overcrowdings in its classroom, California is after all “1st in the US most populated states” by the (World Population Review). So, thing like class rooms having more student then it is designed to accommodate is pretty is common. But that’s the problem a study conducted by the UCLA Institute of Democracy, Education and Access reported that “1 out 3 students in California students attends an overcrowded school”. This is a problem indeed because overpopulation affect learning and test scores. In CCSF I have experience it first-hand class rooms having more student then it can accommodate in my algebra 2 class last semester the room is puck and I have seen the teacher being overwhelm. During that time, I have many question to teacher about the formulas and how to solve equations as well as other students. The state of California must send more funds to public education to counter this dilemma.
It is imperative that more fund be sent to public education. Between 1990 and 2000, enrollment has increased by 14 percent and according to National Center for Education Statistics, the size of the student body …show more content…
As I said before in my algebra 2 class last semester the class room was pack and the teacher was overwhelmed. We all have our own special needs and with so many students how can the teacher possibly know us well enough to address. I am not a teacher but as a student I know teachers bond with students to better help them learn. During all my time with that class I have hardly ever know the teacher nor was I able to learn the material well enough to be a abet student. Even in my other class I form some type of bond with my teachers and have fond that a good student-teacher relationship produces good results in my
