Business Case Study: Comeit Inc. Or Comet Core

Comeit inc. / Comet Core Inc. Team,

First, I would like to say it is with a heavy heart that I am writing this today as I always believed in the concept of the buoyant phone and of the other technologies Comeit as a company came up with to make the phone even more special. That being said, the more I worked in Comeit (Comet Core) the more I realized that no matter how much I believed in the product and the concept, I could not believe in nor quite literally believe, the people working in the company. The reason is quite simple, the main management has exhibited zero integrity, honesty, or care for the wellbeing of others. I could list hundreds of examples as I have them all documented but I will refrain from doing so. Rather, I would like

Lastly, and again on a slightly different note, the amount of money misspent in this company can only be summed up as a disaster. From “management” flying business class multiple times for no reason at all, to booking hotels and flights and everything else you can imagine last minute and dealing with higher rates, and just spending money on things that had no correlation on the business at all. Furthermore, during and upon completion of the IndieGogo campaign, around $50,000 USD was sent to Allen Nejah of SunMan Engineering for a prototype Comeit would never receive. The lack of due diligence on Allen to understand his capabilities were not what Comeit needed is appalling and again lends credence to the fact that “management” thinks they know more about people and countries they have no experience with, than they actually do. In another wild “management” episode, supposedly $25,000 USD from the IndieGogo campaign was “given” to a source in Dubai for some sort of a shady investment deal. I will never be able to wrap my mind around how giving someone $25,000 would help you raise money but since this did occur, we should at least get some idea of what happened. To date, the story stands that “management” was essentially scammed and lost all $25,0000. After all the other lies there is no way to confirm this actually occurred or where the money actually ended up. Another side note would be the gross misappropriation of funds for a second project which was never spoken of or approved by the board and/or the first investor who invested on the pretense of building a Buoyant Phone and ONLY a buoyant phone. While the concept of the second idea is very intriguing it can not be rationalized why a tech company that only raised $1.83 Million USD for their Series A and would need at least another $30-$40 million to get to market appropriately would spend money anywhere other than on the initial product. This would be like knowing it’s going to cost $100,000 USD to build a home
